With the harvest of 13 hectares of fava beans by farmer Henderik Jan Hommes in Groningen, the harvest season in The Netherlands has come to an end.
Even though the weather conditions we’re not perfect because of the wet spring and periods of extreme dryness in the summer. Farmer Hendrik Jan is happy with the result of his first fava field, and looks forward to improve next year.
The harvested beans are stored and will be used for the production of our Tendra® Fava Bean Protein Isolate.
